We are getting ready to begin blogging and this is our first post! We are really so novice at this that we don't quite know what will happen.

We just returned from a very enjoyable tour of Luzon Island with the other temple missionary couples. (Aug 3 - 8). There was such beautiful scenery (away from the busy city of Manila) and we visited many sites where we learned so much about the invasion of the Japanese in the Philippines during WWII and the incredible impact that has had on this wonderful country and its people.

We took many pictures and that will be our next step to enter them on this blog. So here goes our first entry!
